1. Introduction & Acceptance
By accessing or using TeliTask, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our platform.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use TeliTask. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
These terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and TeliTask ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully before using the platform.
2. Service Description
TeliTask is an AI-powered voice assistant platform designed to help you manage communications and tasks. Our service enables you to:
- Make and receive phone calls through AI-powered voice assistants
- Send and receive SMS and WhatsApp messages
- Create, organize, and manage tasks on your behalf
- Automate routine communication workflows
The platform acts on your instructions to carry out these activities using artificial intelligence and third-party telephony services.
3. Account Responsibilities
When you create a TeliTask account, you agree to the following:
- Accurate information. You must provide truthful, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
- Credential security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Do not share your password or account access with others.
- Account activity. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it. Notify us immediately at privacy@telitask.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One account per person. Each individual should maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.
4. Credits & Payments
TeliTask operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system:
- Purchasing credits. You can purchase credits through the platform at any time. All payments are processed securely by Paystack.
- No expiration. Credits do not expire and remain in your account until used.
- Call rates. Rates for phone calls vary by country and destination. Current rates are displayed in the platform before you initiate a call.
- Rate changes. We reserve the right to adjust call rates. We will provide at least 30 days notice before any rate changes take effect.
- Non-refundable usage. Credits that have been used for calls, messages, or other services are non-refundable.
- Unused credit refunds. Refunds for unused credits are provided at our sole discretion. To request a refund, contact us at privacy@telitask.ai.
- Payment disputes. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us within 30 days of the transaction.
5. AI Disclaimer
TeliTask uses artificial intelligence to power its voice assistants and task management features. By using the service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- AI limitations. AI assistants may produce errors, misunderstand instructions, or generate inaccurate responses. They are tools to assist you, not replacements for your own judgment.
- Not professional advice. AI-generated responses do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or any other form of professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for important decisions.
- Your responsibility. Phone calls made by AI assistants are placed on your behalf and remain your responsibility. You are accountable for the content and consequences of those communications.
- No guarantees. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated response, task, or action.
- Review required. You must review all tasks, messages, and outputs created by AI assistants before relying on them.
6. Telephony & Acceptable Use
You agree to use TeliTask's telephony features responsibly and lawfully. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Spam, robocalls, or unsolicited bulk calling or messaging
- Illegal, harassing, threatening, or fraudulent communications
- Impersonating another person or entity during calls or messages
- Using the platform to distribute malware, phishing attempts, or scams
- Placing calls or sending messages that violate the rights of others
You must also comply with all local telecommunications laws and regulations in your country and in the country of the person you are contacting.
We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns to detect and prevent abuse. If we determine that you have violated these rules, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account without prior notice or refund.
7. Intellectual Property
- Our property. The TeliTask platform, including its software, design, branding, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by TeliTask and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written permission.
- Your content. You retain full ownership of any data, content, contacts, and task information you create or upload to TeliTask. We do not claim ownership of your content.
- License to operate. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
8. Service Availability
- Best-effort basis. We strive to keep TeliTask available at all times, but the service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) or guarantee any specific uptime.
- Maintenance. We may perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance in advance.
- Third-party dependencies. TeliTask relies on third-party services for telephony, messaging, and infrastructure. Outages or disruptions in those services may affect your experience, and we are not responsible for such events.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of TeliTask, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
- We are not liable for errors, inaccuracies, or mistakes made by AI assistants during calls, messages, or task management.
- We are not liable for outages, downtime, or failures caused by third-party services, internet connectivity issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.
- Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the total amount you paid to TeliTask in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
- By you. You may cancel your account at any time through the platform settings or by contacting us at privacy@telitask.ai. Upon cancellation, your access to the service will end and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- By us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in prohibited activities, or if we are required to do so by law.
- Effect of termination. Upon termination for cause (violation of terms), any remaining credits in your account are forfeited and will not be refunded.
- Data after termination. Following account termination, we may retain your data for a reasonable period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, after which it will be deleted.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices.
- Notice. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect by sending an email to the address associated with your account.
- Acceptance. Your continued use of TeliTask after the 30-day notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Disagreement. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may cancel your account before the changes take effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of TeliTask shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kenya.
